Amenities include: Newly constructed log cabin with beautiful gun-stock hardwood floors with ample storage/cabinet space situated on a 5 acre tract along the banks of beautiful Salt Creek.

Fishing is available for Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Rock-bass, Bluegill/Sunfish, Channel catfish, Red-horse sucker and sheephead-just some of the fish that are abundant in the creek. State of Ohio Fishing regulations/laws apply

Canoeing is possible in the early spring and summer or until the water table drops in early July.

There is a fire ring with firewood provided.

Just across Dixon mill road from the cabin there is a swing and sandy creek bank just suited for horseshoes/corn hole or just viewing the sun as it sets over our little valley.

There is a wraparound porch with rocking chairs and a luxurious 6 person hot tub with fiber optic lighting and built in waterfall just around the corner.

When you are finished exploring for the day-the cabin has a cozy electric-remotely controlled 3d fireplace with all the beauty and none of the mess. For those chilly fall or winter days/nights there is a heater built into the fireplace and for those warm spring/summer evenings just turn the heat off.

Queen size bed with linens/blankets provided.

Full size bathroom with wide vanity and Full Bath/shower unit.

DirectTV is provided with Starz and Encore / DVD player

There is a small stereo with cd player/FM-AM/cassette.

For those that wish to prepare their own meals or cook we have a full sized- equipped kitchen with all the basics. Just bring your own food.

There is a full size stainless refrigerator and stove with l000 watt microwave.

Plenty of space for longer stays/storage in the beautiful custom cherry cabinets.

There is also a dishwasher to make clean up a little easier.

Dishes and silverware for a setting of 4, large slotted toaster, and coffee-maker.

We try to provide complimentary coffee, and condiments-Cocoa, and popcorn.

There is a beautiful oak table with dining space for 4.

Heating is available via the fireplace which does a very good job of keeping things comfortable on chilly fall/winter nights.

There is a hotel style- PTAC heating and air unit provided with simple controls for heat/air on the unit.

Rates are $100 per night Sunday through Thursday. $125 per night Weekends and holidays with a 2 night minimum stay. There is a $50 deposit required at time of reservation. See our contract below for cancellation policy.

We welcome you as our guest and have done everything we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. There are brochures on the table that we are adding to daily. We are centrally located between the Hocking Hills forest region and Chillicothe Ohio. Chillicothe has about any type of grocery store or restaurant you can imagine as well as numerous attractions/shopping and dining opportunities. There is a food market/gas station about 5 minutes away that you will see on the way in. We are about 19 minutes-on a beautiful/scenic-country drive from Old Man’s cave and all of its attractions with Logan about 30 minutes up the road-also a nice little town with hundreds of dining/shopping opportunities as well.

We currently have sleeping accommodations for 2 but the cabin will accommodate 4 with a charge of $25 per person per night extra. Any extra persons must provide their own bedding and linens-we recommend air mattresses or sleeping bags. Any extra bedding such as a cot etc. must be inspected upon arrival so that we can ensure that it will not damage the flooring. If bedding is determined to be a risk to damage flooring that bedding will not be permitted and there will be no refund of deposit or rental fees.

Our rental contract is as follows:

Renter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. $_____50_____ = Deposit payable at the time of making the reservation.

2. $__________ = the balance of the rent which shall be paid/charged to renter credit card upon arrival.

Total Includes 6 % Vinton county/Eagle township lodging tax.

If Renter is a “no show” or cancels within 72 hours of begin of rental period there will be no refund of deposit. If renter cancels within 7 days of begin of rental period there will be a refund of $25

Renter is responsible for all uses made of the premises and all damages/theft to the rental premises and its content from the beginning of the rental period until renter vacates the premises.

Renter shall not permit smoking or damage to the premises, and equipment. If renter permits smoking/damage- renter shall be charged for professional or excessive cleaning of the premise/replacement of missing equipment and for any loss of rental occurring as a result of the cleaning process or replacement of equipment.

Renter agrees that renter’s credit card used for renting the premises shall be charged for all damages/theft found by Owner and said renter specifically authorizes such additional charges.

Renter shall receive a statement for all damages/theft, if any, and the charges made for the same. Said statement shall be mailed to renter at the address given at the time of signing this contract.

This contract is being made in Vinton County, Ohio regardless of the location of signing by Renter.

If “Renter” is more than one person, each person is jointly liable for the terms of this contract.

A copy of the signed contract will be mailed or faxed to Renter upon request.

Instructions for receipt of the key and return of the key will be given upon receipt of payment of deposit.

No copies of the key are to be made

Renter and his/her party agrees to assume all responsibility for any accident, injury, or damage that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property, and the owner of the premises Lily of the Valley cabin rentals, will not be held liable, or responsible for such injury , accident or damage. Renter and his/her party assume the risk involved in use of the hot tub and any/all other rental facilities-and agree to save harmless and indemnify the owner from any/all claims or liability of any nature that may arise by reason of the same.

Owner is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If an item is left by mistake we will attempt to contact you and return the item-if you wish to pay postage/shipping. If we cannot contact you the item will be held for 30 days and after that time will be considered abandoned.
